Our Heritage Our congregation was founded in 1891, and after several moves and buildings, settled in 1967 in the park-like setting on the former site of the Pitkin estate. The main synagogue building consists of a large air-conditioned sanctuary with its inspiring stained glass windows, the adjoining foyer, social hall and stage, rabbi's study, library, and main office. A recently expanded facility on the grounds is the Audrey Beth Lender School Building.
