Families and singles of “all shapes and sizes” are welcome.
We’re a diverse egalitarian Conservative congregation. All are comfortable in our midst. We are the only “Big Tent Judaism” congregation in Rockland County.
We’re all about community.
We put on no airs and no pretensions. If you’re looking for a spiritual home that’s warm and welcoming – haimish — check us out. We’re eager to welcome you and get to know you.
We’d love for you to visit our new educational building. Our new Meeting Room is now functioning as a venue for classes and meetings, a Chapel-like space for Friday evening and Sunday morning minyanim, a place for kids’ programming, and a space for luncheons and small parties. Our classrooms and offices are being organized and soon will all be set up and ready to be occupied by the young and the young-at-heart. Our new “Gan Katan” (early childhood offerings) now include Yoga, Hebrew for Tots, Munchkins and Mishpacha, Rock & Roll with Rockaroo, Shabbat Club and Tot Shabbat. But adults won’t be left out — there are rooms for our award-winning Adult Education classes, too!
A new Educational Center has been added to our building. It consists of a spacious lobby, a large meeting room, a cantor’s office, principal’s office, a multi-purpose room, and a caretaker’s apartment with a separate entrance. We are thrilled that this space has been created due to the generosity of nearly 100 of our synagogue families who participated in our fundraising efforts.
We’ve already begun using our new large meeting room for Sunday morning and Friday evening minyanim, Board of Trustees meetings, Adult Education classes and special programs and events. Our classrooms will be used for our Gan Katan (Early Childhood) offerings, as well as our Hebrew School classes.
We invite you to our synagogue for Shabbat services, which are held Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and on all holidays. We also hold Sunday morning minyanim, which start at 9 am. For information about Shabbat service times, please go to our “Worship” page or call our synagogue at (845) 358-3767.
